Holly R. Powell has over 15 years of experience in the accounting industry.  Holly began her career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, LLP, in Houston, Texas.  As an auditor, Holly reviewed financial reports, disclosures, and internal controls for her clients, which were mainly public oil & gas - exploration & production companies. Life after Arthur Andersen continued at Calpine Natural Gas, also located in Houston, Texas.  Holly held the position of Financial Reporting Supervisor at Calpine Natural Gas, and was selected to spearhead the implementation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, section 404, for the company. During this time, Holly began to discover her passion to make a difference for the business by identifying key processes, improving internal controls, streamlining financial processes, and creating a strategic plan. 

The next step in Holly's life brought her to the New Orleans, Louisiana area.  In 2005, Holly continued her career at OrthoSynetics, Inc. in Metairie, Louisiana.  During her 10 years at OrthoSynetics, Holly gained experience in financial reporting for bankruptcy requirements, fresh start accounting, implementing internal controls, developing a monthly financial reporting process, improving process efficiencies, and maintaining a corporate accounting team that performs at the highest level.  She began OrthoSynetics as a "one-man" team for corporate accounting and worked her way to become the Vice-President - Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting.

Holly Powell graduated cum laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with a B.S. degree in Accounting.  She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the states of Louisiana and Texas.  Holly is a member of the AICPA and Louisiana Society of CPAs.  She enjoys being an active member in her community, and serves on the board of the Home and School Association for her children's school.

Holly lives in Metairie, Louisiana with her husband and three children.
